This past weekend I got the awesome opportunity to photograph Jenna and Josh's engagement session at a location that is very dear to their hearts and mine. I've known Jenna for many many years. We spent our summers growing up together on the shores of Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire. She is part of my camp family and I couldn't be more thrilled or honored to photograph her wedding in the coming weeks! In preparation for the big day, we had an engagement session at sunset at Long Sands. Long Sands is area along the southern shore of the lake that is kind of like a sandbar. Boaters come by, drop anchor, and spend their summer afternoons floating and swimming with some of the best sand the lake has to offer laying beneath them. A year ago this month Jenna and Josh were enjoying a typical summer day down at Long Sands when Josh popped the question right there in the water! (Super brave! But don't worry, everything went swimmingly! No one dropped the ring!) Fast forward some 365 days later and here we were (along with a few die hard boaters who didn't want the day to end). There were so many great pictures from this shoot that it was hard to narrow them all down to the "winners" as I like to call them...here are some of my favorites....
